hi.

As I struggle with creating a catchy title for this post, I skip to explaining why I plan to continue this blog after my "Popular Culture" class has been long over. In my most recent post I briefly discussed why the lovely world of Pop Culture should be taught in everyday education. As I fill my brain with endless information and grow day to day, I feel the need to get my thoughts down somewhere... and why not it be the vastly evolving interweb where much of my generation interacts. Whether others agree with my opinions and find my thoughts useful, it's mostly an outlet for myself to explore the levels of my 18-year-old brain in a more technologically "cool" way.

A few topics in my mind
The Bachelor(ette)
Biracial relationships
Gender, race, sex, and able-body privileges
Education in relation to music
Stereotypes

Less serious, more fun topics:
Banksy and other favorite artists
MUSIC, MUSIC, MUSIC (what I like and what I don't like)
Books and other literature
Puns upon puns
JUST LET ME RANT (and I will)
and much, much more as I stay connected to the media

Sidenote: I might even post some of my college essays that relate to issues in Pop Culture

Also, feel free to read my (mediocre) posts from Fall Semester here.
